Welcome to European Freight Forwarders
Specialist in Abnormal Loads through Europe
Roy Harbour started out as an owner driver some 37 years ago when he began transporting a coal washing product and timber to
various locations in the UK.
In 1977 Roy first ventured overseas, and some of his
first work was transporting weighbridge beams from Belgium, leather hides
for shoe making to Italy, oil refinery equipment to Sicily and car
components for the new Ford Car factory near Valencia in Spain.
During the early 1980’s Roy started to focus mainly on
the Iberian market and his first major contract was when he began
transporting approx 50 loads per week of steel fabrications for oil
platforms to Almeria and Cadiz in Spain. Some of these loads were
18.0m long, 4.0m wide and even up to 30000 kgs in weight.
Roy has continued to work in the abnormal load market
and during the past 30 years has been involved in an innumerable amount
of contracts from regular transportation of plant equipment to more
unusual one off loads.
It is with Roy’s extensive knowledge and experience
that we are able to offer clients the high level of service we pride
ourselves with.
